Greetings one and all!  Once again, it's time for the third Friday 
Contra Dance at Tropical Haven in Melbourne.  It seems that some of 
our dancers really enjoy "Talk Like a Pirate Day" (Sat. 9/19), so 
once again we will be inviting one and all to open that dead man's 
chest and don their favorite pirate garb.  (Just please leave the 
bottle of rum at home please.)


This month, Bardic Rose from Orlando will be playing the tunes, and
Joey Norton (St. Petersberg) will be calling.

The Details:

Date:  Fri. Sept. 18, 2009
Time:   8:00 PM, with instruction starting at 7:30
Place:  Tropical Haven - 1205 Eddie Allen Road, Melbourne
Dance Cost:  Adults $8  Children under 17 $5

So bring a friend and your dancing shoes (non-marking please) and
join us.  Cool comfortable clothes are encouraged.  The event is
alcohol and smoke free.  If you feel inclined, please bring a snack
to share for our "pot luck" snacks during the break.

Also, as a favor to dancers who are sensitive or allergic, please 
refrain from wearing cologne or perfume.  Thanks.
