Greetings one and all!  Once again, it's time for the third Friday 
Contra Dance at Tropical Haven in Melbourne.  I know the Winter 
Olympics is compelling viewing, but come take a break and do some 
dancing of your own instead of just watching the ice dancers.

This month, The Flying Turtles (Gainesville) will be playing the 
tunes, and  Andy Shore (Ft. Lauderdale) will be calling.

The Details:

Date:  Friday, February 19, 2010
Time:   8:00 PM, with instruction starting at 7:30
Place:  Tropical Haven - 1205 Eddie Allen Road, Melbourne
Dance Cost:  Adults $8  Children under 17 $5

So bring a friend and your dancing shoes (non-marking please) and
join us.  Cool comfortable clothes are encouraged.  The event is
alcohol and smoke free.  If you feel inclined, please bring a snack
to share for our "pot luck" snacks during the break.

Looking ahead:  Saturday March 6, we'll be celebrating the 8th 
anniversary of the Cocoa Beach Contra Dance.  Perpetual e-Motion will 
be coming in from Maine, and caller Diane Silver is coming from 
Asheville, NC.  It looks to be a spectacular dance, so spread the 
word and bring a friend

Also, as a favor to dancers who are sensitive or allergic, please 
refrain from wearing cologne or perfume.  Thanks.
