Vernal's 24th Annual All Night Equinox Dance and Music Weekend
featuring the Latter Day Lizards and Ron Buchanan
with Kumquat Kapers, Fish Camp Cutups, Joey Norton, Susie Rudder, 
Andy Kane, and more!
Friday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 4th
(camping available Thursday through Monday)
at O'Leno State Park in High Springs, Florida
(about 45 minutes north of Gainesville)

Vernal's is a very special, mostly contra dance weekend for an 
'intimate' group of dancers (not more than 80) in a beautiful state 
park setting. The Lizards are the best of the best--spectacular 
musicians and a fun bunch to spend time with besides--and Ron always 
has new dances to share with us when he comes. Cutups and 
Kapers--well, their names speak volumes!

This year's offerings include an all no-walk-though dance on Friday 
night and a NEFFA-style medley to kick off Saturday night's Beach 
Ball. Then there's Contra Schoolhouse workshops, an afternoon square 
dance, swing, yoga, waltz, rapper sword, a games after party, egg 
dying, a silent auction, late-night dancing, great food, the 
Pretty-Close-To-Midnight Feast, picnicking by the river........

Admission to Vernal's is $145, $130 for students/under 21s and $75 
for under 14s. There are still some partial work exchange and 
need-based scholarships available--please don't let your financial 
situation be the only thing to keep you from coming.
